Introduction
Yes, I haven't been on for a while. And I'm still a beginner at airsoft, I still don't know if I want to really get into it yet. And, I want to apologize for the pictures beforehand, my camera really stinks. So, anyways, here's the review. Enjoy.
First Impressions
I ordered an ECHO 1 M4A1 [2007] (Yes, I know I said that this review was on a G36C. I'm getting to that.) on April 17th, from a store 3 hours away from my house. I recieved the gun May 16th. Inside the box, I got a G36C instead of an M4A1, a lemon for a magazine, and a 120V charger. (Normal US power outlets are 110V.) Anyway, I fixed all of those problems already. I decieded to keep the gun. (it was fine with the dealer) So here's the review.
The case includes the gun, one magazine, a cleaning rod, a 200 pack of .2G BB's (As far as I know, usable), a 1100mah 8.4V NiMH battery (good quality), a charger, and, of course, a manual.
Specifications
Length: 28.3 Inches
Weight: 6.3 Pounds
Barrel Length: 9.7 Inches
Magazine Capacity: 470 Rounds
Feet per Second: ~315
Rate of Fire: ~800
Metal parts: Flash hider, front swing swivel, front and rear sights, front lower R.I.S., fire selector, trigger, various nuts and bolts, internal parts.
The flashhider is removeable, has a 14mm negative thread. In order to take it off, you must first remove a very, very small screw. It requires you to use the smallest hex screw to remove it, which is unfortunately is not included. Be careful when removing it, you might damage it.

The screw I was talking about, with a dime. Don't lose it!
Appearance
Lets start at the front and move on to the back. First things first. The gun itself has a good textured finish. No trademarks, just a blank box where I suppose people can engrave their own trademarks. Thankfully, there are no CAL: 6MM, 18 Years of Age!, etc. etc. on the gun. The gun comes with two rails: a bottom one and a top. Only the bottom is metal. There are no side rails included, although you can buy some and fix them on yourself. The cocking lever is plastic, and when you cock it just for fun, it doesn't make that much of a good sound. The cocking lever is ambedextrious, and there is little depression where you can fit the bolt into to make sure it doesn't slap back while adjusting Hop-Up. Pictures of the ejection port are at the gallery, at the end.
The foregrip of the gun is easy to remove, all you need to do is remove the pin and slide it out. The front sight is removeable, in case you want to fix a long scope on there or something. You can also remove the entire upper rail and install a G36 carry handle if you wish. I haven't tried this yet, though.
The firing selector is metal.
The stock is foldable, and the butt of the stock is rubber, but that hard kind of rubber. Overall, the gun is pretty heavy. Seam lines are visible, but very faint.
APPEARANCE SCORE: 4/5 (Seam lines)
Manuverability/Durability
The gun is very manuverable, obviously, because of the foldable stock.
As for durability, we'll see...
MANUVERABILITY/DURABILITY SCORE: 5/5
Power/Accuracy/ROF
- Thanks Jmetal for the info!
I forgot all about this review.. I'm on vacation. I'll post results of test-firing after I get back, which is in two weeks or so.
POWER/ACCURACY/ROF SCORE: N/A
Conclusion
Overall, this gun is a ton better than I expected. It doesn't squeak or groan, and is as solid as a rock. The gun seems durable, and there are no misfeeds at all. The gun is textured well, and I recommend it to anyone on a budget.
Appearance: 4/5
Manuverability/Durability: 5/5
Power/Accuracy/ROF: N/A
Overall Score: N/A
ECHO 1 and JB/GB
NOTE: These are just *my* opinions on what this whole thing is about.
*Gulps and puts on anti flame shield*
All right, lets begin. First off, Jing Gong translated into English means quite a few things. "Jing" can mean "sophisticated" or "golden", and "Gong" can mean "engineering" or "bow". Thus, the direct English translation of "Jing Gong" is "Golden Bow", and therefore JG=GB. (Just as a side note, the reason I said Jing Gong can mean something else is because there is also a Japanese company named Jing Gong, which means sophisticated engineering. These companies are in no way related to each other.)
ECHO 1 and JB/GB *are* different! ECHO 1 has a 30 day warranty, JB/GB does not. ECHO 1 has better quality control. Translation: Less internals pass their examination, which means that they basically have better quality materials! JB/GB also has an M120 spring installed, I'm pretty sure ECHO 1 has a M100.
The gears inside labeled "C-A" are Classic Army gears. True or False?
Half and half. They are CA gears, but they are CA reject gears, which means that even though they didn't pass CA's strict internal qualiy control, they are still excellent gears.

Everyone loves pictures! :D
Just for fun.. some of the things they spelled wrong that were particularly funny.. I was surprised that they didn't spell too many things wrong.. *Cough* Chinese chopsticks instructions *Cough*.. Also, the manual still had the old loading tool, charging rod instructions in it, and the magazine is a high-capacity wind-up.
Side Notes/FAQ
If you want a specific picture added, please PM me. I will not go into internals, as I am pretty bad with those.
